The BEA presents a concert series featuring Brazilian and American music. Both cultures, American and Brazilian, have a long-term relationship with evermore possibilities to continue thriving and growing. In the series we shall celebrate traditional styles as well as new works for the 21st century.

01st – William Anderson/Royce Lopez: solo guitar works by American and Brazilian composers;
15th – Rita Ferreira Quartet - bossa-nova and jazz;
29th - Jonathan Dawe and Raimundo Penaforte (American and Brazilian composers) present Brazilian Baroque Modern: an evening of new works inspired by Brazilian 18th Century Spiritualism and Passions – New Music
AUGUST
12th – The Brotherhood of the Jug Band Blues – Americana/blues/hip hop;
19th - Julia Tygel and Rodrigo Ursaia - brazilian music;
26th - João MacDowell Trio – New MPB.
