Brazilian Library begins the “Literary Wednesdays” in 2010

On January 27th, Wednesday, the Brazilian
Endowment for the Arts will begin the season of
the “Literary Wednesdays”. On the 27th, the poet
Augusto dos Anjos will be the topic of discussion.
The project has the objective of promoting
Brazilian Literature with the public. Lecturers will
conduct the discussions in Portuguese only.
Audience members are encouraged to participate.
Free admission. Discussions will be scheduled on
the last Wednesday of each month at 7pm at the
Brazilian Endowment for Arts, 240 East 52nd
Street (between 2nd & 3rd Avenues) – (212) 371-

On February 24th, the poet Sousândrade will be
the topic of discussion.
